A major quilt show that was to arrive in Espanola on Friday, May 15th has been delayed until next Tuesday because of shipping problems. The quilts will now arrive for a two day event beginning next Tuesday at Cindy Bee’s Quilt Shoppe on McCullough Drive. Each of the quilts on display was made by a quilter who has won a national juried show award. Greeting cards featuring the quilts that are on display will also be sold with proceeds going to The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. The Canadian Quilter’s Association picked Espanola as one of the community’s on its cross country tour of the quilts.
