Anti bullying event held

A march and rally to raise awareness about how bullying causes mental health problems got a decent turnout in Elliot Lake.  About 100 people were part of the event and participants included both young and old.  Residents carried placards as they marched from the Civic Centre to the Miner’s Memorial.  One sign read “One in five will experience mental illness”.  One young boy also wore a pink T-shirt with the message we can stop bullying together.  The rally was organized by residents from the Serpent River First Nation and Elliot Lake.
