It could be an election tactic, but the federal NDP are saying it wasn’t just the Harper Tories who nixed a national strategy on dementia. Nickel Belt MP Claude Gravelle says the Trudeau Liberals also voted against his Private Members Bill. Gravelle says the Liberals had a chance to support Canadians on this issue but chose not to. What the New Democrat finds frustrating is he had a commitment from the Liberal’s health critic that all Liberal MP’s would support the Bill. Gravelle says instead the Liberals have failed Canadians.
