The draft budget for this fiscal year will be part of the inaugural 2021 meeting for Elliot Lake council.
Councillors will review different draft budget items such as insurance premium increases, support of the Renaissance Centre, free transit service and a request to make the city’s website bilingual.
Other draft items include installing water and sewer lines on Spring Road from Hillside Drive down to Ottawa Street as well as a turning lane at Highway 108 and Hillside Drive South.
The replacement of some sidewalks, expansion of the local pier and boat launch and expansion of the industrial space at the airport is also on the table.
The city will decide today whether the meeting will be in person or via Zoom.
