Elementary teachers with the Rainbow board are among the educators beginning work-to-rule action today. All the elementary teachers in the province are in a legal strike position.  At the Algoma board, the assumption is the teachers are also working to rule. The school board was going to update parents through its website but the last notice is dated last Thursday.  That notice states the board was expecting elementary teachers to provide an update late Friday, but we don’t know if that’s happened. So far no new information is posted on the board’s website.
