Ellis students surpass Terry Fox Run target

Students at A. B. Ellis in Espanola were hoping to raise $5,000 with their annual Terry Fox Run this week.  The students did that and a bit more.  And because they surpassed their target, the elementary students get to “pie” their principal and vice principal.  Since 1981 when the school first got involved in the Terry Fox Run, students have raised more than one quarter of a million dollars for cancer research.
