Although elementary teachers in Ontario can legally strike beginning next Monday, parents with kids under the Rainbow board don’t have to worry. Rainbow teachers are staying on the job but they will be working to rule. This means, schools are open, school buses run and child care services are still available. Meanwhile, we still haven’t heard what elementary teachers at the Algoma board are planning. The board is expecting to hear more from the teachers later on Friday.
