There will be a temporary closure of the East Algoma OPP Blind River Detachment this week.
OPP Constable Bev Gauthier says critical upgrades are being carried out at the facility, so it will be completely closed tomorrow and Wednesday.
She emphasizes that all emergency and front-line policing operations continue, but the public is asked to refrain from visiting the detachment.
Gauthier adds normal operations will resume on Thursday.
Any critical administrative inquiries that cannot be postponed for two days can be made via phone to the East Algoma (Elliot Lake) Detachment by calling 705-848-0467.
