There’s a new cop on the beat in Espanola. He’s Constable Joel Tessier, who originally hails from Elliot Lake. Tessier is now undergoing 12 weeks of training at the Ontario Police College. Tessier has a few years of policing under his belt having served as an auxiliary officer with the OPP detachment in Peterborough. Tessier has a wife and two kids and they’re joining him in Espanola.
