A North Bay mom and dad face child abuse charges in a case that stems back to April. During the night of April 22nd a mother brought her 15-day old baby to the North Bay hospital. Staff determined the baby had been injured and sent the newborn to Ottawa for treatment. The parents are now charged with aggravated assault, failure to provide the necessities of life and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
