Ontario introducing colour coded system

Ontario is moving into a tiered system to control the spread of COVID-19.

The new system is designed to allow the province and local public health units to move between different stages of restrictions for residents and businesses as the spread of COVID-19 changes in each region.

The five levels are colour coordinated with verbal descriptions of what restrictions will be in place ranging from green or prevent all the way to grey or lockdown.
In the Algoma Public Health jurisdiction it is recommended to put in the least restrictive level of green or prevent where no further restrictions will be enforced other than those already in place.
That will be approved by the province on Friday and come into effect on Saturday.
