Espanola is back in the NOJHL. The new team is called the Espanola Express and the logo features a moving train. Town council will finalize the deal with the team owners and the league during May. A couple of months ago council cancelled a multi-year contract with Tim Clayden, the owner of the Espanola Rivermen of the CIHL. Council never gave a reason for the cancellation which was in the second year of a three-year contract.
