An Espanola woman not only improved on her personal best in the SudburyRocks Race, Run and Walk, but she also raised $1,050 for the Northern Cancer Foundation.
Espanola’s Lisa Tobodo ran five kilometres through Espanola on Sunday in a time of 34 minutes 50 seconds – 3 minutes faster than her previous best.
She says it was a great experience and has been training hard for the event, which was originally supposed to be held in May but was delayed due to COVID-19.
She is especially happy to have been able to provide the funding to the foundation and thanks to everyone for their support.
