The Sudbury-area man missing after Saturday’s killer earthquake in Nepal is safe. There were concerns that Cody Walter of Lively might be among the thousands who died in the 7.9 magnitude quake. However his family has learned he and his hiking companion are safe. Both were hiking in a national park not far from where the earth quake hit. Walter and others are stranded on the route they were hiking on but a helicopter is expected to fly them out soon.
