Algoma Public Health has started bargaining with its nurses. Management and the union have agreed to talk until this Thursday during this first round. The health unit employs 62 nurses. The Ontario Nurses Association says these nurses are the lowest paid public health nurses in Ontario. The union is looking for a fair contract from the employer.
