World Teachers Day celebration

Staff and parents celebrated educators this week as part of World Teachers Day including staff and students at our Lady of Lourdes French Immersion in Elliot Lake.

Principal Stephane Prevost says the support and teamwork of the teachers is beyond exceptional as they are the binding factor that keeps everyone moving forward.

He adds the staff students celebrated in various ways including feasting on doughnuts, because, as he puts it, “donut you know how amazing you are.”

The Our Lady of Lourdes teaching staff includes Steve Clark, Renee Frolick, Karen Espinosa, Jon Carnaroli, Chantal Tellier, Mike Sampson, Jenn Smith, Nadia Zanatta, Amber Dube, Marni Kay, and Marlene Essex.

This year, Ashley Coventry and Vince Ucci are supporting students in the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board’s Virtual Academy.
