Espanola council has given its permission to North Shore Search & Rescue to host its annual fall road toll.
In a letter to council, the volunteer organization stated is solely funded through its own fundraisers and this would be the tenth annual hosting of the vent.
The organization wants to hold the road toll from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on November 14th between McCulloch Drive and Canadian Tire on Highway Six – Centre Street.
Council commended the organization on the services it provides and unanimously supported the request asking that COVID-19 protocols to be followed by the volunteers during the event.
