Former Espanola resident writes Halloween book for kids

A former Espanola woman and new mother know this Halloween will be different for many children, so she has written a book about the beloved holiday.

Emma Piche is a new mother to a five-month-old, so in between feedings she found time to write and illustrate Spooky Spectre the Spirit of Halloween.

She says the book is geared to children 12 years of age and younger, which tells the story of a brother and sister who meet up with Spooky after finding out Halloween would be different this year.

Piche also illustrated the book adding she is looking forward to writing many more in the future.

The book is available online.

Each copy costs $16.00 plus shipping and can be ordered by emailing [email protected].
