Tony Moor is the new mayor of the Township of the North Shore.
By-election clerk Barbara Major says Moor won the election with 244 votes over Joyce Robitaille who garnered 138 votes.
And, in the election for the vacant council seat, Major says Len Menard won over Glenn Shelly, 53 to 27 votes respectively.
She adds the by-election was held to fill the two vacancies resulting from resignations earlier in the Spring.
Major says these are unofficial results and the final results will be confirmed later today.
