Sudbury Community Foundation supports Cambrian College students

Cambrian College has been given a $15,000 donation from the Sudbury Community Foundation to help students in need.

Alexandra Curry, the Executive Director of the foundation says the funds will go to help students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

She says $10,000 will go to the Cambrian Student Foodbank to feed students and/or their families while the other $5,000 will go to Cambrian’s Rick Fedec Hardship Bursary to help alleviate unforeseen financial difficulties faced by students.

If you are a student looking to learn more about this bursary or the financial support that Cambrian offers through various scholarships, bursaries, and our hardship fund, simply visit: https://cambriancollege.ca/apply/how-to-apply/scholarships-and-bursaries/.

Every year, The Cambrian College Foundation helps more than 1000 students through various scholarships, bursaries, and other support. Cambrian relies on the generosity of community partners like the Sudbury Community Foundation and others to ensure every student at Cambrian has the opportunity to succeed.
