Cambrian College is offering a November intake for seven graduate certificate programs for the first time in its history.
Academics Vice-President Paula Gouveia says the college is offering programming year-round because that is what industry and students have been asking for to adapt to the ever-changing workplace.
She adds some of the programming includes Project Management, International Business Management and Organization Management.
Gouveia says the new programming makes Cambrian the first public college in the province to add a November option for graduate certificate programs.
The graduate certificate programs available this November include:
- I T Business Analysis
- Business Analytics
- Human Resources Management
- International Business Management
- Organization Management
- Project Management
- Supply Chain Management
“We’re excited about all of our graduate certificate programs,” Gouveia explains. “Some are designed using a standard model of delivery where students will take a series of courses over a full semester. Others are more intensive, with students completing courses in an accelerated model so that every seven weeks, they begin a new series of courses. For those who only want to study part-time, that option is also available. We want to see our students enter the workforce with the skills our employers demand, in as little time as possible.”
Cambrian will also be offering English for Academic Purposes this November. This non-Graduate-Certificate program is designed for domestic and international students who want to improve their English speaking, reading and writing skills, to prepare them for further post-secondary studies or for the workforce.
With the introduction of the new November intake, Cambrian College is now accepting new students in September, November, January and May.
