East Algoma OPP has found human remains on a logging road in Hilton Township.
The Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-FPS) conducted a post-mortem examination on August 31, 2020.
The human remains have been identified as those of missing person Sally GIBSON, age 74 of Sault Ste Marie.
The investigation is continuing.
The OPP will provide further information as it becomes available.
