Appointment of online principal at the CSC Nouvelon

A principal had been temporarily appointed by the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon for the upcoming school year.

Education director Paul Henry says the board has appointed temporary principal Sabrina Rocca to oversee the new virtual school.

Henry says because of COVID-19, the board decided to create the new position to oversee the some 500 students who will be taught online.

He adds they have some 6,700 students enrolled in 27 elementary and 10 secondary French-laughing Catholic schools in the local districts
