Algoma-Manitoulin’s MPP is hosting a virtual town hall meeting looking for comments from the public into Long-Term Care homes.
Mike Mantha says COVID-19 has revealed the urgent crisis in long-term care residences, so he is hosting the virtual meeting this evening at 6:00 pm on Facebook.
He says he will be joined by Catherine Joyce, a long-time PSW from Manitoulin Island, Joanne Fortier, the President of CUPE Local 3128 at Extendicare in Kapuskasing and fellow NDP MPP, Guy Bourgouin.
Mantha says the public will also have the opportunity to ask questions following the presentations.
