Construction on a pad to accommodate the new Foodland at the Pearson Plaza in Elliot Lake should begin next week. A company from Caledon will build the pads which should all be done by July 9th. Afterward services and landscaping get underway and the timeline to complete that is October 10th. As for actual construction a news release from ELNOS says Sobeys will start that when it’s practical after receiving its pad.
