Provincial road program to become permanent

Communities that have a provincial highway running through their municipality are getting a break.  The Wynne Liberals are making a program to help pay for this work permanent.  It used to be that municipalities had to pay to maintain the part of the highway that runs through their borders.  But now they can access the Connecting Links program for this and other road maintenance work.  The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities is applauding the $15-million program which it says will become permanent next year.
