The election for Chief and Council for Sagamok-Anishnawbek First Nation is set for this week.
Andrew Southwind, the Deputy Election Officer for the First Nation says community members can vote in two ways.
He says they can get a mail-in ballot by texting or calling him, but the ballots must be received by the time the polls close this Wednesday.
Community members can also attend in-person to vote at the new community hall, adds Southwind, with the polls open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
He says COVID-19 protocols will also be in place throughout the process.
