Many schools are celebrating Earth Day on April 22nd and schools under the Rainbow board have a lot on the go. A.B. Ellis students are collecting litter from the school area and surrounding neighbourhood and at Central Manitoulin, students and staff are having a lights out lunch and community clean-up. A schoolyard and community clean-up is also planned by students at S. Geiger in Massey plus students are also pledging to plant seeds. Webbwood Public School students are also cleaning the school area and they’re bringing a no-litter lunch to cut down on garbage.
