Cameco signs uranium supply deal

Cameco has inked a deal with India to supply its Department of Atomic Energy with uranium concentrate.   The five-year deals calls for Cameco to deliver 7.1 million pounds of uranium concentrate to the agency.  India is the world’s second fastest growing country for nuclear fuel.  It already has 21 nuclear reactors and another six are now being built and are expected to be online by 2017.  Saskatchewan-based Cameco operates a refinery in Blind River.
