Incubator operational

The business incubator in Elliot Lake is now open.  Local mayor Dan Marchisella says it’s designed to help entrepreneurs and existing businesses in town and the region.  And Marchisella has high hopes for the facility.  Among other things the incubator will help entrepreneurs with research and how to get them started on their business.  Marchisella says all this bodes well for the future.  FedNor got the incubator going with a $202,000 grant.  Marchisella says if the grant is a one-time gift and the incubator works, he believes area municipalities should pool their money to keep it going in the future.
