Health Sciences North Foundation has received a $4,762 grant from the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command Branch and Ladies’ Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation.
Foundation president Anthony Keating says the money will go towards the purchase of an anesthesia cart for the MRI suite at the Sudbury hospital.
Legion Branch 76 president Len Leclair made the presentation on behalf of provincial command, saying the donation is just another way they are able to support veterans and ensure quality health care services.
The presentation took place yesterday morning.
