A forensic report from the auditing firm KPMG exonerates Algoma Public Health over financial mismanagement concerns. KPMG found no evidence of inappropriate spending at the health unit. The health unit says details of the report won’t be made public saying the report is for internal use at Algoma Public Health. But it released the end results to show the public there’s no mismanagement. Still to come are the results of an audit of the health unit carried out by the Ministry of Health.
