Elliot Lake hospital opens doors to visitors

Elliot Lake’s St. Joseph’s General Hospital is open once again to visitors, but with strict COVID-19
protocols in place.
Hospital Chief Nursing Executive Connie Free says there will be limited visitation starting today for all
patients with only one visitor allowed once a day for the safety of everyone, patients and staff alike.
She says COVID-19 protocols, such as masks, hand sanitization and physical distancing must be
maintained.
Free adds the visiting hours are from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
All visitors must use the main entrance for visitations to be screened by staff.
