Several municipalities along the North Shore corridor will take place in a hazardous waste day.
The townships of Huron Shores, Thessalon, Thompson and Day and Bright Additional, are participating in the Town of Blind River’s Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday, July 25 at the Blind River Tourist Information Centre, free of charge.
The public can dispose of a wide range of hazardous waste from car fluids, cleaning materials and more from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
People from Huron Shores may also take items, also free of charge, to the Sault Ste. Marie Waste Depot between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
