A North Bay area man is dead after his snowmobile went through the ice on a lake near the city. OPP say although some people rescued the man with a canoe and started CPR, the victim died later in hospital. The 49-year-old was from Bonfield. OPP say lakes are very unpredictable at this time of year and are warning snowmobilers to stay off the ice.
