Elliot Lake might see training programs to address a labour concern in the community. This is thanks to a $202,000 grant from FedNor to create a business incubation centre in town. The centre will have business counselors who among other things will identify labour shortages and address this issue with training programs. Incubator staff will also provide in-depth counseling services, marketing and business planning to entrepreneurs. The incubator will operate through the City’s economic development office.
