Judges reverse decision and declare Massey dairy farmer co-winner in contest

It turns out Massey dairy farmer John Mooney tied for first in an online international competition on robotic techniques to milk cows.  Mooney, who owns Jonella  Farms was first awarded second place behind a Russian farmer on the best suggestion for cow milking.  But the judges learned later that the video from the Russian did not meet all the criteria.  Rather than take away the Russian’s first place finish, the judges let him keep it and declared Mooney a co-first place finisher.  Both win prizes worth about $3,300 Canadian.
