P.C. leadership hopeful Christine Elliott says under the Liberals, Northern Ontario has not developed to its full potential. Elliott says key growth areas that need help are mining and forestry. But Elliott adds it doesn’t stop there adding several other factors will help the north including fair energy prices. Elliott toured Northern Ontario last week and one stop was Espanola. While in town she fielded questions from party faithful including the reputation of the Tory party, infrastructure and fiscal responsibility.
