There are two new COVID-19 cases in the Greater Sudbury area, according to Public Health Sudbury & Districts.
Penny Sutcliffe, the Medical Officer of Health says with the re-opening of the province, people have more opportunities to interact with each other and for the virus to spread.
She adds with re-opening, it is sort of like the speed limit has increased in our area and so now more than ever, we need to “wear our seatbelts” and for COVID-19, our seatbelts are washing our hands, keeping our distance, wearing non-medical masks, staying home when ill, and getting tested.
The two individuals, cases 65 and 66, are a man and a woman, both in their twenties who came in contact with a case with unknown exposure and are now in self-isolation.
