An ATV collision on Manitoulin Island has resulted in the death of a Manitoulin Island woman.
Manitoulin OPP Constable Renee Lalonde says police and emergency services responded to an ATV collision at Skipper Lane in Gordon Township.
Lalonde says the investigation revealed the ATV had left the road, which resulted in the driver sustaining severe injuries.
Sixty-five-year-old Sandy Merrylees of Gore Bay passed away from her injuries in hospital.
Lalonde adds the investigation is continuing.
