It’s good news for residents in the Worthington area. A multi-year project to continue monitoring the health of the Vermilion River is going into its third year. The ongoing monitoring is the result of funding from several organizations. The Vermilion River Stewardship has been studying the river system as a means to protect and restore water quality. Queen’s University will have two students study sediment from the lakes and helping them are 21 volunteers from the stewardship.
