The NDP have released details on how to fix the federal Nutrition North program. One action items calls for a comprehensive review of the program that includes all northerners as partners. That involves residents of Northern Canada and Northern Ontario. The party would also include 50 remote fly-in communities that don’t have access to the program right now. One of the New Democrats lobbying for the change is Carol Hughes of Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing.
