It’s not the way some residents of Spragge thought they would be spending Easter weekend. Late Good Friday afternoon residents were forced to leave their homes when explosives were found on a vacant property. They were evacuated as a precaution and were let back in their homes in the evening. However they again had to leave their homes on Saturday while a bomb squad disposed of the explosives. OPP don’t know how the explosives found their way to the site. They say the amount was significant.
