The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is getting support from federal New Democrats over joint concerns about the Ring of Fire. Last month the chamber was critical of both the federal and Ontario governments for not advancing the chromite project. Now NDP MP’s from the north have sent a letter to the chamber outlining their concerns. The letter says the NDP are worried that the Harper Tories have failed to take a leadership role in the Ring of Fire. The letter also explains how the NDP would advance the project.
