Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli isn’t buying the Liberal rhetoric that the government is outperforming its deficit projections. The Liberals say the deficit is now expected to come in at $10.9 billion instead of $12.5 billion like they first thought. But Fedeli says it’s still going up. Two years ago the deficit was $9.2 billion, last year it hit $10.5 billion and now it’s $10.9 billion. Fedeli says contrary to what the Liberals claim, we’re moving further from a balanced budget. The Tory MPP say there is no way the Wynne Liberals can have a balanced budget by April 2018.
