Two major donations to health care in Sudbury

The Mansour family in partnership with its company Milman Industries Incorporated are donating 2,350 pieces of personal protective equipment to Sudbury frontline workers.

Company president Milan Mansour says they are distributing masks, gloves and face shields to the Greater Sudbury Police Service, Health Sciences North, Greater Sudbury Fire Service and Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services.

The Lougheed Family Foundation has also donated $50,000 to Health Science’s North COVID-19 Support Fund.

Gerry Lougheed Junior says the funds will go towards vital equipment to support the frontline workers.

The Milman Industries Incorporated donation includes:

  • 400 KN95 masks and 400 Nitrile medical examination gloves to GSPS
  • 500 Nitrile medical examination gloves to HSN
  • 300 KN95 masks to GSFS
  • 100 KN95, 250 medical face shields and 400 Nitrile medical inspection gloves to local paramedics
