Although we still have plenty of snow, the weather is starting to warm up and with that comes bears. Some bears are already waking up from their winter hibernation and they’re looking for food. And there have already been sightings in the Sudbury area. Police say bears will target anything with food and that includes garbage containers, barbeque residue and composters. Once bears find a food source, they keep going back. Police say try to put garbage out on collection day, don’t have bird feeders within easy reach of the bruins and clean your “barbie”.
