A local union has provided students with vital technology to continue their school lessons.
S Geiger Public School teacher Colin Granby says Espanola’s Local 74 has donated 10 Samsung Galaxy to families in Spanish, Webbwood and Massey.
He says the donation ensures students from the Massey-based school can continue to learn during the pandemic by accessing online virtual learning.
He says the students work with teachers like him and are now able to complete assignments.
Granby says thank you on behalf of all the kids to Unifor Local 74 for their generosity.
