The Office of the Chief Coroner says all coroner’s inquests are now postponed.
Dr. David Cameron, the Regional Supervising Coroner for Inquests, says the inquests are postponed in alignment with Ontario’s strategy to limit the spread of COVID-19.
He adds notices of the rescheduled dates and locations will be published when it is determined they can resume.
In all, he says 24 inquests have been postponed in Ontario, looking into the deaths of 27 individuals including two in Sudbury.
