Personal protection equipment, PPEs as they are called, are in high demand due to the COVID-19 virus and a Thessalon area business wanted to do what it could to help.
The owners of Kings Plumbing & Heating of Thessalon, Scott and Christa Lawrence, donated 2,000 masks to the North Shore Health Network yesterday morning.
Scott says and his wife only has words of thanks to the front-line staff in fighting the virus and call on other businesses to do the same.
The network oversees medical services from Thessalon east to Blind River.
